Honestly? You are not legally required to obtain a certification to practice energy healing. The field is largely unregulated at the federal level, though some states do require documented training and certification if you are working in a professional setting or alongside licensed practitioners. It is worth checking the specific requirements in your state before you begin seeing clients.

That said, a certification matters deeply for reasons that go beyond legal compliance. When you work with the public — especially with people who are vulnerable, in pain, or in the middle of a healing crisis — your credential tells them that you have invested real time, real training, and real supervised practice into becoming someone they can trust.

Supervision is a required part of your training — not optional — because we believe that a well-supervised practitioner is a safe and ethical one.
