You will be spending two full days with a small group of like-minded souls. By the end of the weekend, you will leave making new connections and a supportive community for life. No previous experience or instruments are required. All levels are welcome.

Vibrational medicine and how sound moves through the body to create emotional release, energy clearing, balance, and deep restoration

DAY 1 - DISCOVER THE HEALING POWER OF SOUND MEDICINE FOR MIND, BODY, SOUL, AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING
Day 1 is a combination of lecture, discussion, and hands-on practice. We start with an opening sound meditation and intention setting. We cover the science and theory behind sound healing so you understand what you are doing before you ever pick up an instrument. From there we move into practice and that is where we spend most of our day. You will have instruments to use (bring your own if you have them), get feedback and guidance, and peers to practice with.
*Never heard these words before? Don’t worry! By the end of the training, you will know exactly what they mean and why they matter to your practice.
DAY 2 - HOLD SPACE WITH SACRED SOUNDS TO PRODUCE YOUR UNIQUE SOUND AND HEALING CEREMONY
Day 2 is where where you move from practicing individual instruments to combining them and building your own intuitive sequences. You will start to find out which instruments call to you, how you naturally move between sounds, and what your version of a soundbath actually feels like. We close with a brief conversation about building your practice and the weekend ends with a 30-minute graduation soundbath ceremony led by Jennifer.

Meet Jennifer Escalera
I created this certification because I believe sound healing belongs to everybody who feels called to it. The communities that need this medicine most are the ones most left out of wellness spaces. That is not by accident and it’s not something I accept. Community healing is how we resist systems that are designed to keep us burned out. That is the work I am in and it is the reason this school exists.
I am the Creatrix of The Mystic Living School, a Chicana-owned energy medicine and sound healing certification school. I have been working in the spiritual and healing arts since 1998. Sound healing has been part of my practice since 2012. In the years since I earned my certification I have taken this work everywhere. Community soundbaths, yoga studios, parks, private sessions, baby blessings, sacred ceremonies, corporate partnerships, non-profits, and advocacy groups. Wherever people gather and need to find sacred space, I am there!
My background as an LCSW and Metaphysical Intuitive Healer specializing in healing childhood and intergenerational trauma, women's empowerment, and self-care shapes how I teach. I do not just teach you how to play instruments. I teach you how to hold space ethically, safely, and with the kind of presence that makes people feel genuinely cared for. That is the difference between someone who facilitates soundbaths and someone who practices sound medicine. Anybody can learn to play an instrument. Not everybody learns how to hold space for what comes up when they do.

Yes! This is one of the things that makes this training stand apart. A full day of the training is dedicated to integration across Reiki, yoga, massage therapy, energy healing, and a wide range of professional settings. Many graduates do not offer standalone soundbaths as their primary service. They weave sound into what they are already doing, and find it elevates every session.

No. Some students come in already working as service-based professionals such as therapists, yoga teachers, or educators, and add sound healing to what they already offer. Others have no background in this work at all and are starting fresh. Some are here for their own personal growth and have no plans to practice professionally at all. What you need is curiosity and a willingness to show up and practice.

Graduation is the beginning, not the end. Many graduates go on to deepen their practice through the Intuitive Energy Healing Practitioner Certification, where sound healing is one of five powerful modalities in a complete holistic healing toolkit. You can also bundle both programs together and save $500.
You’ll be invited to join our alumni cohort, IMPACT with other sound healers and energy healing practitioners in a private group chat managed by Jennifer. Details given during the training.

Yes. Instruments are available for you to use throughout the training. If you already have your own bring them so you get practice and in the moment feedback and guidance. If you are not sure what instruments to buy before day one, your 30-minute Instrument Consultation with Jennifer is included in your tuition and covers exactly that.

Yes, and the training is built to set you up for it. Your enrollment includes the Introduction to Building Your Sound Healing Practice guide, covering how to price your sessions and get started, and we also touch on this during Day 2. You leave with lifetime access to the IMPACT alumni community, where you can collaborate with your cohort, share what is working, and get invited to advanced trainings as you grow. How quickly you start offering soundbaths, private sessions and what you build from there is ultimately up to you. But you are not building it alone.

Yes. You have up to one year from your enrollment date to attend a future training. Your payment is final and non-refundable, so make this decision with that in mind. If you do not attend within one year, you keep access to your online course and instrument consultation but forfeit the in-person training and would need to pay for enrollment again to attend. If you know you cannot make it, you can gift your in-person training to someone else by sending us their name and contact information. Your online course access and instrument consultation stay with you.
