Meet Jennifer Escalera
I am a Latina Soulpreneur, Metaphysical Intuitive Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and the founder of The Mystic Living School. I have been working in the spiritual and healing arts since 1998. Sound healing has been part of my practice and my medicine since 2012.
In the years since I earned my certification, I have facilitated sound healing across every kind of space — community soundbaths, private sessions, baby blessings, sacred ceremonies, corporate partnerships, non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, and a Netflix project.
My background as an LCSW shapes how I teach. I do not just teach you how to play instruments. I teach you how to hold space — ethically, safely, and with the kind of presence that makes people feel genuinely cared for.
I created this certification because I believe sound healing should be accessible to every healer who feels called to it. The communities that need this medicine most are often the least represented in wellness spaces. I would be honored to teach you.

No. All instruments are provided during both days of training. This training welcomes complete beginners and experienced practitioners alike. The only requirement is that you feel called to this work.

Anyone who feels called to learn sound healing is welcome. That said, this training is especially powerful for those already in service to others — massage therapists, yoga teachers, nurses, reiki practitioners, beauty professionals, community leaders — because Day 2 is specifically dedicated to integrating sound healing into the work you are already doing.

You will practice with Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, tuning forks, chimes, and more. By the end of Day 1 you will have a much clearer sense of which instruments resonate with you — making any purchase decisions after the training far more intentional. Jennifer will provide guidance on where to buy and how to build your toolkit at any budget.

Yes — and this is one of the things that makes this training stand apart. A full day of the training is dedicated to integration across Reiki, yoga, massage therapy, energy healing, and a wide range of professional settings. Many graduates do not offer standalone soundbaths as their primary service. They weave sound into what they are already doing — and find it elevates every session.

Graduation is the beginning, not the end. Many graduates go on to deepen their practice through the Intuitive Energy Healing Practitioner Certification, where sound healing is one of five powerful modalities in a complete holistic healing toolkit. You can also bundle both programs together and save $300.
